JOBS LISTED: 10th June 2010   AUCKLAND OPERATIONS MANAGER - TRANSPORT LINE HAUL OPERATOR - TAKANINI - Seeking an experienced transport operations professional whose background can demonstrate knowledge of both Linehaul and local metro markets servicing the regions major distributors of perishable goods. This is a busy hands on role demanding good leadership people management skills and whose background would include good exposure to the transport regulatory sector and can make good decisions around  fleet and driver management. Hours 7am - 6pm Monday - Friday. Salary + Car. CUSTOMERS SERVICES - BOOKINGS COORDINATOR (CITY SHIPPING LINES) -  It is essential this role attracts an experienced operator of 2 years minimum Shipping Line experience, is familiar with the local export market and trade lanes:UK/Europe, Asia, East Coast America, Trans Tasman & the Middle East, quoting freight rates and coordinating customer requirements with all departments. The role demands a good command of English, verbal and written communication skills as is front line to a wide range of customers (leading exporters) all demanding a professional customer service.  Our clients are offering on going self development opportunities along with job security, good remuneration and benefits. INTERMODAL COORDINATOR- AKLD INNER CITY -  Intermedidate 2 years minimum shipping line experience, with intermediate to advanced level Excel skills: (Pivot Tables and some Macro's). The role offers a variety of tasks including quoting and negotiating rates with suppliers, instructing transport port operators and respositioning equipment throughout the Asia Pacific regions. Mature, professional and good communication skills are essential to this role operating effectively.  Excellent working conditions: Sal to $47k + benefits. This role is 80% data processing large volumes of bills, demanding attention to detail.  There is daily phone contact with a wide range of customers therefore your ability to communicate clearly and in a professional manner is essential to the roles accuracy of information and it being translated accurately.  Your ability to display strong numeric skills will be a factor in selecting the right candidate. A Masters FG certification is essential to the roles stowage planning procedures and ideally would be seeking some-one with shoreside operations/stevedoring experience at a level they can set up systems and take charge of a new operations processes. It will demand a great deal of energy and enthusiasm to work independent of support while the company gets established its structure and processes.
